Shipping Policy Switzerland
This shipping policy supplements our General Terms and Conditions and governs the delivery area, shipping methods, delivery conditions and special requirements for professional equipment.
1. Delivery areas
Switzerland & Liechtenstein
We deliver as standard within Switzerland and to Liechtenstein. We deliver to all common postal codes provided there are no exceptional transport obstacles.
International deliveries
International deliveries are made only after our prior written confirmation. Delivery time, shipping costs, customs duties and taxes are borne by the recipient, unless otherwise agreed.
2. Processing & delivery times
Processing generally takes place within 1–2 business days after receipt of payment or release of the order. Delivery times are indicative and do not constitute a binding commitment.
Estimated delivery times:
- Items in stock: typically 3–4 business days
- Items out of stock: typically up to 15 business days or as per individual confirmation
- Bulky goods / pallets / large equipment: typically 2–7 business days, depending on scheduling and delivery circumstances
All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, suppliers, customs, weather, public holidays or force majeure do not entitle to compensation.
3. Carriers & shipment tracking
Shipments are made depending on the product by parcel service, freight forwarder or our own specialised delivery team. Large appliances, refrigeration units and sensitive machines will, where possible, be delivered using appropriate transport means and with prior appointment scheduling.
For smaller parcels we use suitable carriers depending on availability. After dispatch you will receive — if available — a tracking number or a delivery notification.
4. Standard delivery and scope of service
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the standard delivery comprises only transport and delivery to the agreed unloading location or, for freight shipments, generally to the kerbside.
Any offered standard assembly or on-site positioning relates exclusively to simple mechanical mounting work without official permits or technical commissioning.
5. Installation and connection work not included
The following services are only owed if they have been expressly agreed in writing as additional services:
- Gas connections, gas testing, tightness tests, inspections or certifications
- Electrical connections, high-voltage connections, adaptation of plugs, fuses or wiring
- Water, wastewater, osmosis, steam or refrigeration connections
- Ventilation, exhaust, fire protection, core drilling, anchoring or structural modification work
- Commissioning, parameterisation, instruction, conformity or safety certificates by licensed professionals
To the extent that such services are required by law, technical requirements or the manufacturer's specifications to be performed by licensed or qualified professionals, their organisation and commissioning shall be the customer's responsibility, unless we expressly assume this in writing.
6. Customer obligations prior to delivery
The customer must ensure in good time that the delivery address, access, load‑bearing capacity, door widths, staircases, lift, unloading area as well as required connections and ambient conditions are suitable for the ordered equipment.
If delivery, bringing in or positioning is not possible or only possible with additional effort due to insufficient access or installation conditions, additional costs for waiting time, return visit, storage, aids or return transport may be charged.
If the customer does not accept a notified delivery in time, refuses acceptance without justified reason or postpones a confirmed appointment at short notice, additional costs for re-delivery, interim storage, handling, rental equipment, downtime or return transport may be charged.
7. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are shown at checkout or in the individual quotation. Additional costs may apply in particular for liftgate service, hard-to-reach regions, island/special deliveries, timed deliveries, unsuccessful delivery attempts or special packaging.
For international deliveries the recipient bears any customs duties, import charges and local taxes.
8. Partial deliveries & availability
We are entitled to make reasonable partial deliveries. In case of delays or unavailability we will inform the customer as soon as possible and propose an appropriate solution.
If goods are ready for shipment or collection and delivery is delayed for reasons within the customer's responsibility, we may, after prior notice, charge reasonable storage, preparation and administration costs.
9. Delivery address, receipt of goods & transport damage
Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and correct. Failed delivery attempts due to incorrect information, refusal of acceptance or absence may incur additional charges.
The shipment must be inspected immediately upon receipt for completeness, obvious damage and externally visible defects. Visible damage should, if possible, be noted directly on the delivery note or consignment note and reported to us with photos within 48 hours.
Concealed transport damage must be reported immediately upon discovery. Late or insufficiently documented reports may make enforcement against the carrier more difficult or preclude it.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures resulting from force majeure, official measures, strikes, natural events, supply chain disruptions or other events beyond our control.
11. Returns
Returns and refunds are governed exclusively by our Returns and Refunds Policy.
